This easy to build coffee table is another plan that uses straight off-the-shelf boards, making it a very inexpensive build. The DIY plans to build a Westport Coffee Table features frames at the ends and center with angled pieces in the middle, a planked top and bottom, and is on casters. This super-easy coffee table can be constructed in a matter of hours! The table would be awesome in a grey weathered finish!

Cut the pieces for the frame assemblies. Assemble the outer frames as shown using glue and countersunk 3″ screws.
Cut the pieces for the angled frame assembly pieces. Cut the angles as shown using a jigsaw, bandsaw, or miter saw. Position the pieces inside the outer frames as shown securing in place using glue and 2″ screws.Woodworking Planshow to Woodworking Plans for
Cut the pieces for the top and bottom planks. Secure the planks to the top and bottom of the frame assemblies using glue and countersunk 2″ screws. Note that the planks on the outer edges of both sides are narrower (3-1/4″ wide) than the other planks.
Secure the casters to the bottom (in a desired position) using 3/4″ screws.
Thoroughly sand and finish as desired.
